The Fourth of July is less than a week away but some of us can already feel the pull of spooky season calling us. And it grows stronger with every new house announcement for Halloween Horror Nights.

Universal Orlando Resort announced its latest haunted house, this one inspired by Sony Pictures’ latest flick “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.”

The theme park will host 10 houses and five scares zones in total this year. Wondering what will join Ghostbusters at Universal Studios Orlando this August? Here's what to know.

How long is Halloween Horror Nights 2024 in Orlando?

Mark your calendars! Universal Orlando Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights will be on:

  • Aug. 30-31
  • Sept. 1, 4-8, 11-15, 18-22, 25-29
  • Oct. 2-6, 9-13, 16-20, 23-27, 30-31
  • Nov. 1-3

How early can you get into Halloweeen Horror Nights Orlando?

For the first time in the event’s history, Universal Orlandoalso announced that guests can experience Universal Orlando’sHalloween Horror Nightsbeforeit officially opens on Thursday, Aug. 29. For $350 plus tax, guests can purchase tickets for the park's Premium Scream Night.

What houses have been announced for Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights so far?

As of June 2024, Universal Orlando officials have announced eight of the 10 house themes. Here's the houses and their descriptions from Universal:

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

This bone-chilling haunted house is based around the franchise's latest film “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,” which premiered in the spring. Officials shared it will also feature iconic ghosts, creatures and characters from thebeloved classic series.

"… the Ghostbusters must team up to save the world from a second Ice Age. A new specter, Garraka, has escaped from an ancient artifact. He’ll stopyou cold with a whole army of ghosts. Try not to freeze in fear as you dodge spears of ice and he freezes people solid before your eyes."

A Quiet Place

In the park's second house based off a popular horror movie, guests will have to silence their screams if they want to survive the post-apocalyptic world based on the films “A Quiet Place” and “A Quiet Place Part II.”

"Like the Abbott family, you must keep quiet as you travel from the farmhouse, to the woods, to the foundry. As soon as you make a sound, monstrous creatures who can hear the slightest noise will hunt you down and silence you for good."

Triplets of Terror

In this original house, parkgoers are invited to the Barmy triplets’ birthday bash. However, they celebrate by recreating their family’s murders.

"Prepare for a gory gathering."

Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America

This house features three monsters from Latin America: the blood-sucking Tlahuelpuchi, owl-faced witch La Lechuza and bone-ripping El Silbón.

The Museum: Deadly Exhibits

Taking place in a new folklore museum exhibit, "The Rotting Stone," officials detail an evil escapes from and destroys everything in its path.

Major Sweets Candy Factory

Who doesn't love candy? Parkgoers have been invited to chaperone a field trip to a candy factory. Just don't trust the free samples. (Hint: they transform the kids into candy-coated killers wielding sharpened candies.)

Goblin’s Feast

Visit a goblin village, where hordes of bloodthirsty goblins, orcs, hobgoblins and witches would love to have you for dinner.

Slaughter Sinema 2

Dying for a B-movie horror marathon? You can head to the Carey Drive-in, where officials detail scenes from creature features, grindhouse gore, spaghetti westerns and more.

Can I buy tickets and passes to Halloween Horror Nights 2024? How much are HHN tickets?

Universal Orlando officials said guests can secure their spot for the screams with single-night event tickets and Express Passes available for purchase now onits website.

A single-night ticket for HNN at Universal Orlando Resort starts at $82.99 and increases depending on the date, which USA TODAY notes is a hike from last year’s $73.99. The ticket is a separate event ticket from park admission.

There’ll also be an express pass allowing visitors to skip the line at haunted houses one time. The cost for the express pass is $129.99.

How much are Universal Orlando Frequent Fear passes for Halloween Horror Nights?

As for passes to attend multiple nights, they have not released the prices for 2024. Here's a breakdown of last year's prices to help you budget for when August sneaks up:

  • Fear of Fear Pass: Access to up to the first 18 event nights of terror - $179.99
  • Frequent Fear Pass: Every Sunday - Thursday, plus the first weekend - $229.99
  • Frequent Fear Plus Pass: every Sunday - Friday, plus the first weekend - $269.99
  • Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass: Every night of the event -$374.99
