Very rarely do I go in & eat at Taco Bell. I just want to say Jason who was working the counter, & drive through at 4140 S. Lipscomb in Springfield this afternoon not only went above & beyond with each guest, but also had an amazing & bubbly personality. He was very attentive. & nice. You don’t see that much anymore. Taco Bell, I don’t know if you can do anything for him. He deserves praise & a shout out.

AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS!!The wait at this location is always outrageous. I’ve been here several times and the wait has been anywhere from 30min to an hour in the drive through. Every time there has only been MAYBE 3 or 4 cars ahead of me. I find it so ridiculous that a “fast food” could take so long. It’s not like they are actually cooking either lol It shouldn’t take this long to microwave food. Unbelievable.

Half the items on the menu have been discontinued, yet the menu isn’t updated. It’s digital, update your menu, it takes 5 minutes of your time.If a customer asks for no lettuce, don’t put lettuce on the order. It’s pretty simple.My expectations are not high given this is Taco Bell, but at the same time, I hope the management staff can continue to train their staff to provide better service.

I was working overnight at the time and this was one of the few places open late enough to get food. Once an hour before they closed, they were completely out of meat and couldn't make nearly anything on the menu with the exception a few items. One night they weren't even open when I went on lunch (which is always an hour before they close), and finally one night their headsets weren't working and everyone had to order at the one window and also wait for their food there. I DO want to say though, the staff was always super nice and I got a long with them well. Just in the short amount of time I visited them seems like their were a lot of issues.

I would give zero stars if I could. We have had multiple bad experiences with this location but this is the first time I felt necessary to leave a review.My girlfriend and I placed an online order to pick up. With two cars in front of us we were told it would be a 25-35 min wait for our food due being short staffed and too many online orders. Our order was placed online and we commented that we were told online orders were not made until people show up at the window which they agreed that was true. We questioned how the number of online orders could affect ours with only two cars in front of us. The story changed several times with at least three people speaking collectively through the intercom. One repeated being short staffed, one complained about too many online orders again, and the third one told us the other orders were big orders and then asked if we wanted to cancel ours. We heard multiple employees being rude and disrespectful to us over the intercom so we said to cancel the order and suggested they learn some customer service skills as we heard them being disrespectful and they just laughed at us and said OK sarcasticly. We see that the charges have not been removed from the original order and actually shows the order was picked up. Short staffed or not, this is unacceptable.In the end we drove to the next closest taco bell and got what we wanted from there. With many more cars in the parking lot and in the drive through we were there for less than 10 minutes which makes me wonder what is going on at the 4140 S Lipscomb location.
